The Mariman Extreme Kayak Race was originally developed by Santiago to highlight not only the stunning location but also to show there was more to the Trancura River than just the rafting companies pumping down all the tourists that visit Pucon, which is one of the main adventure capitols of the Southern Hemisphere, not just in South America.

Pucon has gained a reputation as one of THE best kayaking towns not just in the Southern Hemisphere but on the planet! Autumn Creeks and Classics in Austria

Autumn is a great time to kayak in Austria. The big rivers such as the Oetz and Inn are a lot lower providing some of the best creeking in the world. The Classics such as the Sanna are always great to kayak and of course when it rains we get the Alpine rivers in Bavaria such as the Loisach. Also the famous Ötz Trophy is happening and it is a great time to meet up with, talk and paddle with some of the best extreme kayakers in the world!

We have the longest kayaking season in the Alps and the Autumn gives us rivers that are perfect for Creeking such as the Oetz, as well as the Classics such as the River Inn in Austria and Switzerland, the Sanna is an Alpine Gem and if the levels come up a trip to the Loisach in Bavaria, Germany is always memorable.
