Kayaking Adventures in Chile - Road Tripping

We were at Los Queñes to kayak the Rio Teno and the Rio Claro of the Teno. It is the perfect place to start our Chile Kayak Adventure and Road Trip. The Rio Claro of the Teno is a short drive up a dirt track and what is normally a beautiful clear river was actually brown and silty! Todd explained that there was not much snow on the glaciers so the river is being fed by melt water mixed with ash from previous volcano eruptions!

Storing your kayaking equipment at the end of the Season.

It is the end of the kayaking season and now it is about either flying to countries like Chile if you are living here in the mountains of Austria to continue kayaking or it is time to pack away your kayaking kit and maybe wax the skis!? Kayaks, paddles and apparel are not getting any cheaper and so with just a few steps you can prolong the life of your equipment.
